- The Online Writing Lab at Purdue University covers writing of all kinds, research, grammar, and MLA and APA style through over 100 user-friendly handouts.
- Bedford/St. Martin's "Re: Writing" provides resources for "Writing and Rhetoric," "Research Resources and Citing Sources," and "Grammar and Style Exercises and Diagnostics." This is a free service, but you will have to create an account with your e-mail address and a password to access its content.
- The Online Companion to Michael Harvey's The Nuts and Bolts of College Writing includes topics such as "Thinking," "Style," "Structure," "Evidence," "Mechanics," and others.
